That's how I think about my music.
Endless passion for music
for discovery, for people, for life...
In 2015 Matthias Gleichmann founded the Loewenklang recording studio. There he produced commercial, often cinematic music for internet platforms and business customers and ended up with his music even once on national television. Regional solo artists and bands from pop, rock, hip-hop and other genres are still visiting his studio for recordings.
In addition to his early compositions, Matthias wrote his first lyrics as a young teenager. But it wasn't until his debut "Spaceman" that he made a conscious decision to enter the music world not only as an audio engineer, but also officially as an artist.
Loewenklang plays a far more important role for him than just being the name of his recording studio or his artist pseudonym. Because Loewenklang stands above all for him as a person and his work with music and musicians, for a clear message and a transparent sound, for natural and synthetic sounds, rough and harmonious tones, for social criticism and self-reflection, for questioning and belief.
The versatility of the multi-instrumentalist is not only evident in his music and work in the recording studio. He also works in the rescue service, studies human resource management, is a volunteer, husband and dad. But where is there still time for the music? It is precisely these different interests and the associated wealth of experience that inspire his creativity and continuously shape his style.
What comes next?
Music never dies. It grows!
I can't know all about it. But i try.
What's next? When is there something new to hear from Loewenklang - in the truest sense of the word?
For me, songwriting is always a creative process that can take time. So I can't say exactly when a new song or album will come out at first. But I can tell you this much at this point: The next song will definitely come...
